Toddler Photoshoot in Cheshire
More often than not, the toddler stage can be overlooked when it comes to photoshoots. If I was to invite you to a toddler photoshoot in Cheshire, I am pretty sure the hairs on the back of your neck would rise. I get it. Because, nothing strikes more fear into a mothers heart than the thought of needing your toddler to sit still for a professional photoshoot. Because sitting still does not come naturally to toddlers. And who can blame them? Because the last thing your toddler does at the best of times is sit still.
Photoshoots are meant to be fun. What every parent wants when they are investing in photography is for the photographer to capture the true personality of their children. To essentially capture the spirit of their young growing family. Whilst this may well include the odd tantrum (toddlers preogative right?), mostly they want their childrens best side captured.
I kinda want to help with this. Because when done correctly, toddler photoshoots are amazing. Toddlers are enormous fun but we all know the more we want them to do something, the less inclined they are to do it. This is why my photoshoots are done in a relaxed & gentle environment in my Cheshire studio. We do not need an endless array of props and toys. Instead we need patience, a few of their favourite songs & some fun games to get them in the spirit. Whatever floats their boat. They gotta believe that they are running the show right?

So let me show you a recent photoshoot of this absolutely gorgeous 18 month old. Into my studio she came, hugely suspicious of me. But you know what, we took our time. It wasn’t long before she was showing me her teddies, sitting on my big girls stool and chasing bubbles around the studio. With mum making silly noises and singing her favourite nursery rhymes we got the gallery of absolute dreams. Natural smiles and giggles. Naturally inquisitive looks. Sheer joy. We got the photos mum wanted without anyone stressed. It was perfect if I am being honest. And you know what. I want the same for you.
