In Person Newborn Photography Workshops 2025
So you want to be a Newborn Photographer?
In- Person Newborn Photography Workshops are perfect if you could benefit from training but don’t need the 121 aspect and are happy to learn in small groups of 4. My natural newborn photography style is suitable for those that are new to photography or those looking to train in the art of a more natural approach.
I have dates available in April & July 2025, limited to a maximum of 4 students at £450 each for a newborn photography workshops (reserve your space with a £100 deposit now) in my dedicated Natural Light photography studio in Macclesfield. If you use artificial light you can leave your triggers at home and just bring the camera!

My workflow is simple. Nothing elaborate and most importantly – nothing dangerous. Over the years I have perfected the most simple approach to posing newborns in order to ensure 1) confidence for you as a newborn photographer in each and every session 2) guaranteed gorgeous galleries for each and every family that walks into the studio 3) varied images with limited movement of baby 4) a relaxed and calm atmosphere because baby can be awake or asleep with this workflow 5) a workflow that can be adapted and added to as your confidence grows.
Gorgeous posing with Newborn & Parents
Every new photographer has nightmares about parent posing. Am I right? When I first started, this was the part of the photoshoot I dreaded the most. Now, it all feels beautifully into my workflow and the family images are captured in the most relaxed, fun way that achieves beautiful results. Learn how to reassure clients who feel awkward in front of the camera. Pose so that the focus is on baby (music to your clients ears!) yet ensure that parents presence in the photo is meaningful.
Editing Tips and Tricks plus access to my camera settings
The next and final stages to beautiful images is the editing process. Stop trying to fix images in the editing stage. With my training you will learn to capture stunning images in camera and this will make them so much easier to edit. Editing is the icing on the cake.
Let me help you perfect your whole process.
You can of course take your own photos so you can go home and practice editing!
